 I always save a few fall candles to burn during the hottest days of summer (I’m one of those lucky individuals who gets C.P.D Chicago Police Department Flag Skyline T shirt somehow) and it actually does help a lot to get through the worst days smelling a nostalgic candle to help remind me there is an end in sight. But that’s because I plan ahead, buying some and saving them over the previous winter like a goddamn squirrel.

Releasing the Halloween candles now just means most of the good ones (including the decorations) will all be gone by the end of July, either by folks anxiety buying because they’re worried if they wait they’ll sell out or by folks looking to resell…unless B&BW is planning on multiple releases…and are they really going to be having Halloween up and running/consistently stocked in the stores for 4 months (July, August, September, October)? Doubtful considering how much they’d rather focus on holidays, candle day etc. I’m too old to be fighting with my computer at 6 am on a random Monday in the middle of July to get a “purrfect pumpkin”candle a minimum of 12 weeks before I’m even buying any Halloween candy, absolutely not.
